This article says IBM predicts in 5 years we'll be using biometrics instead of passwords. I have a laptop from 2008 that has a finger print login, but in my opinion biometrics will eventually be less secure than passwords.

As of October there are some revised recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics regarding sleep time for babies. I comment on the changes in this article.

Spring is supposed to come early this year because the Groundhog didn't see his shadow.

Which seems opposite from what the prediction should be. If you see your shadow, it means the sun is out, which I normally associate with warmer weather. Oh well.

I've been telling a lot of people to "keep the crazy at home" recently. Lots of folks seem to be yearning to connect to those around them. Those that can't seem to feel a need to express it publicly by acting crazy. Let's pray that folks can keep the crazy at home this Christmas season by connecting with those that love them.
