E*trade is now offering a savings account with 5.05% interest. FYI. (HSBC and Emigrant Direct were the other two I was aware of.)
Why wouldn't Michael Vick have just mailed himself that water bottle? Why do athletes do such stupid things?! (Don't do drugs!)
And where on earth was our Mom's homemade macaroni and cheese?! I'm telling! (And lambchops? Where were they?!)

That food list is bunk... Bacon, man, bacon...
There is not, nor ought there be a food so exalted on the face of God's great earth, as that prince of foods: The Muffin!
Perhaps the 20 cal per hint of lime chips is an approximation. I have never seen them report calories unless it ends in a 5 or zero. So maybe its closer to 15 cals per chip. So if you ate 3 chips for 60 cals, maybe the 4th chip is free. Great math. Hell ya.

Hey man, I was just trying to kick your wings up a notch. BAM! BAM! You are all over the place with your list. Chips, wings, eclairs?? How about a top 5 snack food items, top 5 desserts, top 5 stews made with wild game? Oh yeah babe, now you're talking.

Thanks Ken, for your thoughts! I just posted a question on About.com regarding taxes, and it was answered in a day. The question was: I sold some stock that I got for free from a class-action lawsuit. Is my "purchase price" 0, even though I didn't purchase anything? It is 0, but H&R Block got that wrong, too.
I hear you on the investment woes. I thought I was investing in some money market back in 2003 to help pay for the upcoming wedding. Turns out it is a brokerage account and I have to pay 40 bucks a year just to have it. Worst of all HSBC brokerage put 1/3 of my money in .... HSBC stock. Since 2003 that money went from 1k to 1,150. So if I include my fees in that stock. 1/3 of my investment made no money at all. Luckily the other 2/3 was wisely invested and I made some money there ... but seriously if I had the CD rates currently back in 2003, I would have been fine I think investing in a CD. There is WAAAY to much idiocracy in investing.
